Gua Tempurung

I think i was around 10 years old when i visited this place. At that time, even my mum joined us for the wet tour which was considered quite challenging for her. But for us kids, it was pure fun.=)

Most people on this tour was sceptical about it,especially when we mentioned that the tour we are taking is the most challenging one. Some even thought that he was going to die in the cave.=_=''.However, names shall not be mentioned and fingers shall not be pointed.=P

-Before entering the cave. Everyone looked so clean and fresh.haha.-

-Dont ask me why kenzen placed his sticker there. =_= But his sticker was the sole surviving one among all of us.-

One of the major dissapointment of this expedition was the lack of tour guides. As it was a Sunday, there was a large crowd and therefore there werent enough guides to lead the tourists into the cave. Hence, we couldnt get a personal tour guide for our group and had to mix with other groups. In the end, 1 tour guide led around 25-30 people. Maybe that's why they gave us discounts.Cis.cis.

Once into the cave, the stones are magnificient. Stalagmites and stalactites were amazing. It takes millions of years for a stalagmite and stalactites to combine into a column. 0_o

Should have taken some pictures of the columns but too bad my camera died not long after we entered the cave. =(

-Parti Komunis Malaysia (PKM) was here too-

According to the tour guide, communists were hiding here during the 1950s. Wondered what they ate in the cave. There were only like spiders, scorpions(really got!!!!), bats and cobras(!!!!). Oh, occasionally some porcupine. We saw a dead body of a stupid porcupine which fell to its death in the cave. I didnt know porcupines could be found in caves.lol.


Ahh..yes. We had to crawl and swim in some areas of the cave, like this:

-me,Soo and Vincent. Look at the rock behind, you can just drink the water flowing on it. Free mineral water.Maybe this is where Spritzer gets it water.-

After that, we continued our journey in the cave. This time, not much of water but it was climbing slippery muddy slopes. There are no safety measures in the cave. =.= People can just fall into a deep hole, break their leg and left to die alone.

When it comes to 'slope' and 'slippery', i have to fall. =.= This time, i fell flat on the ground. cis. No thanks to my worn out addidas red shoes, i have bruises on my knees and arms. So pityful. :(

- I dont whether is it self inflicted torture. Poor me :(-

After 4 hours in the cave, we were so hungry that we could almost eat a cow. After a quick shower to get rid of the mud, we headed off to Ipoh, the city of sedap food. :D

-Bean sprout and chicken.Yum Yum. :)-

Ipoh's food is so so sedap. :D The bean sprout was fat and juicy while the chicken was smooth and tasty. We wanted to drink Ipoh's famous white coffee but it was closed when we arrived. :(

But when i was walking around, look what i saw!!!

Pain pain

My body is aching now. :(

Thanks to the Gua Tempurung expedition, and not forgetting the terrible fall i had in the cave.

Now, i have bruises on both of my arms and both of my knees. It is even more painful after i had my shower. *sobs* :'(

My father thought i broke my leg again.HAHA.

When i told my friend i fell down, he exclaimed, 'Why do u always fall down??!???!!'

Bah. Where got always. Twice only mar. hee hee. Anyway, this is nothing if compared to the pain/misery i sufffered when i fractured my leg.

However so, the Gua Tempurung trip was fun despite the physical challenge part. Pictures will be up soon after i get the pics from Soo.

I was supposed to pick up my brother from the airport today. But he just called me that he missed his flight. Apparently they had mistaken about the time of departure and arrival, so he will be staying in Sabah for a couple of days more. This means that i get to use the car longer. :D Yay!!

I have been busy this week. Met with a couple of my secondary school friends and received some shocking news. o_O

Apparently, TWO former schoolmates of mine are married.*for more details, ask me personally*

On another unrelated note, after my post on my shitty feelings of being jobless, a company called me for an interview.

And the interview is conducted tomorrow.

This interview is quite stressful as i have to sit for a technical exam. Argh, and its have been ages since i hit the books. Dont really know how to study now.haha.

So, i spent the whole day studying process safety and design projects.

Suddenly, something hit me.

I made a shocking discovery. About myself.

Life is even more unfair when my bro is travelling to Sabah tomorrow for 13 days.

And guess what? I have to wake up 6 in the morning to send him there. *buries face into palms and sobs uncontrollably*

I dont know why, but how come no companies reply my mail?!?!

Is my resume that sucky?
Or am i simply not worth replying to?

Finela. I was not active at all in my high school years (but i was active in my primary school years ok!). I rarely participated in clubs/uniform clubs/sports. But but but, im a changed person now. I have been cycling in taman bukit cahaya at least once every month. And mind you, the slopes there are VERY challenging. I sweat until my whole short wet. cis.

And im not that choosy also. I just want a job which pays me a decent RM2k. Is that alot? Okla, i will settle for RM1900 since poor economy. My Singaporean friends are laughing at me cause my pay is so low.:( My friend even rejected a job which pays him Sing $2.2k Cis.

To help make things worse, my internet connection sucks. I was applying for Shell but couldnt enter the questionaire section thanks to my internet.

Applying for jobs is really demoralising.

I rather study. Or perhaps i should just strike lottery and shake leg for the rest of my life.

Christmas Dinner 2006

I know its rather late, but dont care la.heehee :D

Meisim insisted that she wants a christmas dinner because she didnt had one in UK.haha. So, she took the initiative to organise the dinner and buy the turkey.A christmas dinner isnt a christmas dinner without a turkey.

Hibiscus,Orchid Farm & Bird Park

Today, im going to be a good malaysian citizen and promote tourism in msia!!!:D

A few days back, out of boredom, me and meisim visited the parks in KL. It has been more than 10 years since i stepped into these parks. Well, i remembered visiting the bird park, deer park, orchid farm and the butterfly park with my cousins. At that time, we were just a bunch of monkeys running wild.

Thanks to my good sense of direction(hehe), we managed to reach the parks safely. We didnt know what to expect, so we would just enter any park which was in sight first. The first thing we saw were the hibiscus and orchid farm.And since it was a weekday, the entrance fee was free!!!=D

Hibiscus Farm

For your information, hibiscus or known as bunga raya, is our national flower. To our dismay, the farm was a dissapointment. Maybe it wasnt the season of hibiscus, so there were not many hibiscus there. But but but, hibiscus got season one meh?i thought they bloom all year long :(

Orchid Farm

Right next to the hibiscus farm, it was the orchid farm. On the contrary, the orchid farm was impressive. The flowers were everywhere, and the farm was very well taken care of. Had i not known that the hibiscus is the national flower, i would have thought that the orchid was the national flower instead.-.-

-So pretty!KL Tower as the backdrop.Impressed =)

The orchids really reminded me of the tulips in amsterdam.emo emo emo. =(

Bird Park

My mum told me that there were not many birds left in the bird park due to the bird flu. But since we were nearby, we decided to pay a visit to our KL Bird Park.

Upon arrival, we found out that the ticket price was RM12!cut throat!!It was relatively cheap as we were malaysians. Adult foreigners had to pay RM30 and their children RM22. wahlau, if i am a visitor from another country, i will feel damn cheated. -_-

Nevertheless, we just bought the tickets and see how great is this KL Bird Park.

We met up with some interesting birds in the park.

-The famous hornbill- -I call this the Skinny leg bird(reminds me of 'antenna') :D-

And yes, we saw some weird birds. Damn weird.

-A striking red colour flamingo. Looks like it has been dyed. damn fake.WTH.-

Oh oh, let me tell u about our encounter with this stupid peacock bird. Lets call it pea brains bird/dumdum bird.I think dumdum bird sounds stupidier.-.-

Initially, when we saw this bird, we were quite excited because we wanted to see a peacock displaying its grand tail. As known, peacocks displays its tail to attract the peahens.And that is why the peacocks are prettier and more beautiful than their female species.

However, this dumdum bird displayed its tail when there is no peahen in sight. Dont know who it wants to attract.

-Maybe it wants to cross breed with chickens.Talk about exotic taste -_-'''-

We were quite desperate to take a picture with it, but somehow, or for some unknown reasons, it didnt want to face us. It kept turning away from us,showing its butt to us. Action dumdum bird. We looked very scary meh? -.-We are kind hearted ppl with decent faces ok. =P

Then suddenly, a guy appeared. He too wanted to take a pic with the peacock. And we thought that he would face the same difficulty we had. To our surprise, that dumdum bird stood there nicely for him to pose and take a pic. -_-'''

We agreed that the dumdum bird is gay. wth.

While it stood there steadily 'attracting' the guy, we took advantage of this moment and snap pictures.hehe.

When we were walking past this area which kept rare/endangered birds, we saw this bird and couldnt stopped laughing.haha.

Bored?

OKlah, i started to write because im just plain bored. The previous post is just for formality reasons.haha.


Being jobless sucks because everyone will ask what am i doing at home.

Initially, when i just came back from Uk, i was bored to the core. This was because:

1. I had a fractured leg.

2. I cant drive despite being 21. (Dont laugh -.-'')



My poor leg.

-During MeiSim's Bday.Dont get me wrong. My leg actually hurts.- =(


Super Tulan. Why must i fractured my leg 2 weeks before graduation. All my graduation pics suck because of my robot leg. I was given names from cacat girl to robocop.=( These ppl lack of sympathy, and make fun out of ppl's misery.='( (actually i would do the same if someone fractured their leg.HAHA.No wonder i fractured my leg.*sobs*)


In addition, i had to cancel my trip to Italy. Farewell beautiful Pompeii and Naples. And my mother and grandmother had to stay behind in Uk. Haihh, i feel so sorry for them.*points at left leg and scolds*


Thankfully, my leg healed like 2 months after the dreadful incident.I can walk,run and shop once again. (Even with a broken leg, i still could shopped. Talk about determination.=P)


My driving skills


Hah. Lets talk about my driving skills. In the past, i was teased because i cant drive although i had a driving license. One of my friend used to say that 'it was like having a brain but not using it'. wth. -_-


EH eh, but things has changed now. I can drive. Muahahaha. Not a very skillful one though. Still cant side park, reverse park and constantly being bullied on the road. Malaysian road users are mean. However the skill i possessed is enough to bring me to sunway pyramid, 1u, midvalley,sungei wang.Sufficient for the time being.What an achievement. *pat on own's head*

Therefore, equipped with a healed leg and my bro's car, i managed to reduce my boredom.Not entirely towards zero boredom, but at least reduced. As a part time housewife, i helped my mum by buying groceries, running errants and at times, buying lunch. To reward myself, i will indulge in shopping.hehe.=P

However, i need to cure my boredom, lead a much more meaningful life instead of an useless one now, earn some money and prevent my brain from rotting.

I need a job. =(

Its my life

Hie there,

After much hesitation, i finally decided to write a blog. It may not be as good or as interesting as some of the famous blogs, but it depicts what are my current feelings,perspectives and part of my life. Most importantly, it helps me keep track of my personal develpoment and memories. Basically, its my life. Isnt that what a blog should be? =)

Besides, i would like to reflect the past especially the days in UK. Although it was just 2 years, but i have learnt much and hopes to write down what i still can remember, for fear that i will lose it in another few years later. By putting it in words, i hoped that i can slowly release myself from the misery of missing uk, and learn to adapt myself once again in my home country.=((

Its the year 2007. A new beginning, i hope.
